About The Position

Nippon Sanso MATHESON is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver in Jourdanton, TX. Our Packaged Gas Drivers haul cylinders of compressed gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Hydrogen, and Carbon Dioxide. We deliver primarily to hospitals, commercial food processors, and various government agencies. This CDL-B Truck Driver position is mainly local home daily; however, drivers may be required to layover and be able to adjust to scheduling changes as needed. This work is clean, consistent, year-round work with no down periods. This position involves hands-on physical loading and unloading of trucks.

Requirements

• CDL Class B license and current DOT medical card
• Minimum 1 year of CDL Class B driving experience or 6 mo of experience with certification from an accredited driving school
• Must be able to pass the road test
• Current Hazmat Endorsement
• No more than 1 traffic violation in the last 2 years
• No at-fault accidents in the last 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in last 5 years (1 per lifetime)
• Ability to pass DOT physical, DOT drug test, and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Hauling compressed gas cylinders and hardgoods
• Hands-on physical loading and unloading of truck
