About The Position
Nippon Sanso MATHESON is a leading supplier of industrial and specialty gases and of gas handling equipment in the United States. We are seeking an ENERGETIC driver at our Farmington facility to haul high-pressure gas cylinders/liquid cylinders, welding supplies, and hard goods in a Class B Vehicle. The position requires 1 year of CDL driving experience with hazardous materials. Position duties will include material handling, loading/unloading, pushing, climbing, using electronic logs, operating a forklift, and following all safety policies. For safety purposes, cell phone policy and cameras are in all company trucks.
Requirements
- CDL Class B or A w/ hazmat endorsement
- 1 year of professional commercial driving experience
- Hazmat handling experience
- Forklift: able or willing to learn
- Good driving record with no at-fault accidents in the past 2 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical, DOT drug test and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class B flatbed truck to deliver goods locally while laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials as per Hazmat guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
