About The Position

Coordinate the daily delivery of product to customers at the lowest cost of distribution, taking into account legal and operational constraints. This includes compliance with local transportation regulations, product availability, and the availability of vehicles and drivers. The role involves providing transport drivers with the planned route, including loading and unloading points, and handling export activities. The position also involves reviewing truck utilization according to their maximal capacity, working closely with other departments to ensure prompt customer service, and analyzing customer trends to recommend supply modes based on various logistics aspects like consumption, usage patterns, and location. Maintaining master data accuracy in the system and ensuring follow-up of activity by validating and confirming drivers' operations (customer number, truck and trailer identification numbers, tank level, delivered product, mileage, driver's name, etc.) and reviewing trip performance to take corrective actions for efficiency are key responsibilities. Additionally, the role requires reviewing delivery routes and clusters regularly to optimize the distribution network. Safety is paramount, requiring knowledge, respect, and promotion of a safety culture at the office and Distribution Centre, attending safety meetings, and promoting a safe working environment.
