The Package Design Associate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end development of package designs for new and existing products. This includes creating dielines, typography, layout, color selection, and preparing final production files. The role involves reviewing and applying label data from R&D, ensuring accuracy and consistency in elements like cooking directions and ingredient lists. The associate will manage artwork routing for cross-functional reviews with R&D, Sales, and Marketing, incorporating feedback through approval cycles. A key aspect of the role is ensuring all packaging complies with FDA labeling rules and any country-specific regulations for export items. Additionally, the associate will develop secondary packaging concepts from initial sketches to digital drafts and color schemes, and prepare them for press-ready proofs. Support for brand assets, including logo refinements, photography coordination, and visual guidelines aligned with market trends, is also required. The position involves preparing print-ready files and collaborating with vendors on proofs, color targets, substrates, and finishing to ensure on-press accuracy. Maintaining version control, asset libraries, and documentation for audits and regulatory reference is crucial.
