About The Position

This position assumes Packaging/Retail area expertise and provides guidance, recommendation, and mentoring to support the successful operations within the Packaging/Retail arena. The role involves effectively and efficiently operating equipment relevant to Bulk & Retail line operations, supporting Retail operations during employee absences, and demonstrating knowledge of Bulk and Retail quality/processing documentation requirements. The Pack Tech must stay updated on procedural documentation for Bulk and Retail proficiency, including start-ups/shutdowns and troubleshooting. They will acquire applicable chemical training to safely operate the chemical foamer and be responsible for the successful completion of Master Sanitation schedules. Additionally, this role will assist supervisors with administrative duties such as MES, tracking downtime, job assignments, staffing, and SAP EWM. A key aspect is assuming a leadership role in problem-solving to reduce costs, enhance line reliability, ensure quality, maximize yields, and minimize material usage. The Pack Tech will prepare work areas and equipment, ensuring necessary materials are staged and inventory levels meet production needs. Communication and coordination with other departments are essential, as is performing operator duties and line relief to ensure continuous operations. Finally, the role involves facilitating area-wide implementation and adherence to safety and environmental guidelines.

Requirements

Responsibilities
