About The Position

The Pack Room position is responsible for providing quality service and products to customers in a timely and professional manner. This role involves de-linting and folding surgical towels, inspecting various surgical linens to ensure quality standards are met, and assembling surgical packs. The position requires adherence to standard operating procedures, as well as the requirements of HLAC and the customer, while meeting quality and production standards.

Requirements

Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day.
Sufficient manual dexterity to process linen.
Be detail-oriented and able to perform tedious tasks for entire shift.
Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling.

Responsibilities

De-lint and fold surgical towels.
Inspect various surgical linen to ensure quality standards are met.
Assemble surgical packs.
Follow standard operating procedures, in addition to the requirements of HLAC and of the customer.
Meet quality and production standards.
Be on time.
Have excellent attendance.
Meet established production standards.
Follow all company safety rules.
Be able to work well with a diverse workforce.
Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Possess and maintain a positive attitude.
Keep work area and the company premises clean and organized.
Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise.
Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit.
Cross-train in other positions per production needs.
