PACK OUT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
We are hiring immediately for full time PACK OUT SUPERVISOR positions. This role is responsible for setting up and maintaining food production and quality control of food items prepared in the kitchen. The position involves training, developing, supervising, and retaining staff members, evaluating multiple options to achieve revenue goals, and providing thorough and accurate packed load dispatch and monitoring. The supervisor will utilize tools to achieve revenue goals and supervise staff to ensure compliance with all Company procedures and policies. Employees in this role will work in a temperature-controlled environment with exposure to cold conditions for extended periods of time.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience in a warehouse required
- food picking and packing experience preferred
- Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Training, developing, supervising, and retaining staff members.
- Evaluate multiple options to achieve revenue goals.
- Provide thorough and accurate packed load dispatch and monitoring.
- Utilize tools to achieve revenue goals (packing per hour, per work shift).
- Supervise staff to ensure compliance with all Company procedures and policies.
- Prepares food items necessary for assigned area.
- Assigns specific duties to associates under supervision for efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Ensures proper storage and handling of products; uses portion, presentation and recipe controls.
- Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including food and non-food working areas.
- Reports equipment repair/maintenance to appropriate supervisor or facility department.
- Supervises team members in absence of Sous Chef; disciplines, trains and schedules associates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
