About The Position

We are hiring immediately for full time PACT OUT - CENTRAL KITCHEN positions. This role involves stacking and piling goods into correct containers and preparing them for shipment using various pieces of equipment. The job requires working in a cold (refrigerator) environment and maintaining databases of packages. It also includes completing documents to record measurement, weight, and product count, and tracking inventory. Employees will remove completed or defective products or materials and place them on moving equipment or in specified areas. The company emphasizes safety, requiring the use of specific protective gear like cut gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes, and promotes a drug-free workplace.

Requirements

• Previous product fulfillment experience in a cold (refrigerator) environment.
• Use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
• Use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
• Use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares containers for packing, ensuring containers are undamaged.
• Stacks and piles finished goods into containers; prepares goods for shipment following specific instructions.
• Verifies items pulled from packages are correct.
• Maintains database of packages.
• Completes documents to record measurement, weight and product count; tracks inventory.
• Removes completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
