The Job: As a Pack Operator, you’ll be part of our Shelbyville Manufacturing team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Basic knowledge of tolerance and quality inspection procedures
- Excellent hand-eye coordination in a fast-paced environment
- Reading and updating move tags
- Light physical effort required, equivalent to lifting, pushing, pulling up to 5 to 25 pounds
- Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality
- Flexibility to work overtime
Responsibilities
- Read work instructions and follow established procedures
- Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates, exemplifying 6S and PPE principles
- Ensure all products meet specifications, maintain quality standards of product following quality assurance on FPI
- Properly fill out all documentation and labels
- Properly handle all scrap, rework, and mixed product
- Perform other duties as assigned
