Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in label finishing, printing, packaging, or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets, measurements, and quality standards.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
  • Willingness to work assigned shift and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in label finishing, printing, packaging, or manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate finishing and converting equipment such as rewinders, slitters, die‑cutters, inspection machines, and packaging units.
  • Review job tickets, artwork, and production specifications to ensure accuracy prior to each run.
  • Perform machine setups, including blade changes, tension adjustments, and alignment of materials.
  • Inspect finished labels and packaging components for defects, color consistency, registration accuracy, and overall quality.
  • Use vision inspection systems (if applicable) to ensure compliant and defect‑free product output.
  • Document production data including waste, counts, downtime, and quality results.
  • Package completed orders according to customer requirements, including labeling, boxing, palletizing, and staging for shipping.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following CCL Label safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Press Operators, Quality Assurance, and Production Supervisors to achieve daily production goals.
