About The Position

The Raw Pack Off Assistant inspects and takes packaged hotdogs from the conveyor to the box then palletizes for shipping. Ensures that all box packaging materials are stocked.

Requirements

• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
• Open availability is needed to meet the needs of the business.
• Required to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Performs front and backside product inspection on incoming conveyor. Discards any damaged product into gondola tubs or carts as needed.
• Performs manual hot dog box packaging then advances box on conveyor into taper.
• Stacks/palletizes hot dog boxes onto rotating Lazy Susan. Lifts and carries empty pallets onto Lazy Susan for each pallet stacked. Adds slip sheets on each layer and tapes down with handheld taping devices.
• Checks and verifies pack and use dates on packaged products.
• Performs basic workstation area clean up; clears floor of debris.
• Delivers packages of hot dog rework products through waist height window to the adjacent RTE department.
• Retrieves packaging film waste through the window and disposes in a cardboard bin.
• Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
• Assists with department duties as necessary.
• Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
