About The Position

The Transportation Specialist transports PACE program participants using company-owned vehicles and may also transport durable medical equipment (DME), meals, or other items as needed. The role is responsible for maintaining the upkeep and cleanliness of fleet vehicles. Some participant care may be required, including transfers, wheelchair mobility, and toileting. The specialist may also escort participants to appointments when appropriate.

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Location: Lafayette, Colorado. Pay: $22.50–$27.61 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience driving a company vehicle.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and follow up on or delegate responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving passengers.
• Experience working with scheduling databases.
• Experience working with the frail or elderly population.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
