Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, or a health or human services field, or Clinical degree/diploma required.
  • Five (5) years of health care experience.
  • Three (3) years of management experience, preferably in a geriatric care setting.
  • One (1) year experience working with the frail and elderly population preferred; if not met, required to train upon hire on the complexities of serving a frail and elderly population.
  • Must have active CPR and First Aid Certification within 1 month of hire.
  • Either training in or related experience with direction of a health care program.
  • Knowledge of the physical, mental, and social needs of the elderly.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional clinical licensure and Master’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages the daily operations of the Program for All Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE), including operations of rehabilitation, recreation, nutrition, transportation, and administrative support teams.
  • Ensures that appropriate personnel are trained and perform their functions within the organization.
  • Ensures operational services standards and budgetary criteria are met.
  • Ensures operations are in compliance with all governing regulations.
  • Assumes the Program Director’s responsibilities in their absence.
  • Serves as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, pursuant to 42 CFR §§ 460.102(b) and (d), as both the Center Manager role and also backup for Transportation Administrator.
