Lila Sciences•Cambridge, MA
•Onsite

About The Position

Lila Sciences is replacing its procure-to-pay platform with Coupa, with go-live targeted for Q1 2027 following a fifteen-week build. The P2P Specialist owns configuration through go-live, then triages post-launch issue tickets, turns recurring problems into configuration or training fixes, and prepares a documented handover package for internal owners. This is a six-month contract based at Lila Sciences’ OCP office in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The specialist works day to day with the systems integrator and partners with Finance, Legal, and scientists who depend on the system.

Requirements

  • Hands-on configuration experience on a modern P2P or source-to-pay platform; Coupa is strongly preferred, and deep Ariba, Zip, or Oracle experience is considered.
  • At least one full implementation or major module go-live where the candidate personally held configuration or UAT responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of three-way match, tolerance thresholds, and approval hierarchy design.
  • Experience with catalog and punch-out enablement and supplier network onboarding.
  • Data migration and validation experience, including reconciling a supplier master and explaining every variance.
  • Temperament for a fast, visible project supporting end users who are scientists with experiments waiting.

Nice To Haves

  • Ironclad or similar CLM experience.
  • Life sciences or research environment experience, including lab consumables and capital equipment buying patterns.
  • ERP integration exposure, such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Experience running hypercare alongside a systems integrator.
  • Experience decommissioning a legacy platform.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and run configuration workshops with stakeholders alongside the systems integrator.
  • Execute and document configuration workstreams, including approval matrices, guided buying, catalogs, punch-out, and supplier onboarding.
  • Build and load catalog and punch-out content, starting with the highest-volume suppliers.
  • Configure the approval hierarchy against the approved signing matrix and test it thoroughly before go-live.
  • Run data migration and validation across the supplier master, open commitments, and historical purchase orders.
  • Own user acceptance testing by writing scripts, running sessions, logging defects, and driving them to closure.
  • Hold dual-system reconciliation during the parallel run to ensure no order is duplicated or dropped.
  • Manage the systems integrator day to day and escalate risks internally.
  • Triage post-go-live issues and hand over complete documentation to trained internal owners.
