About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Summer/Seasonal Merchandiser in the Idaho Falls, ID area. This role involves displaying and arranging beverage products on shelves, displays, and other areas to draw attention to potential customers. The Merchandiser will provide excellent customer service to store owners and customers, effectively resolve complaints or grievances, and work with a high level of accuracy without direct supervision. This position requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and a valid driver's license. The work environment is usually moderately noisy and occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The Merchandiser will arrange products according to a prearranged plan or their own ideas approved by management, place price and descriptive signs, and transfer product from customer stock rooms to floor displays to comply with 'Sell By' dates, maximize product in store, and minimize product in stock rooms. Ordering product for assigned accounts to ensure no out-of-stock conditions and constructing or assembling display aids from company-provided Point of Sale (POS) materials are also key responsibilities. Effective daily communication with key store personnel regarding service or product needs is essential. The role requires wearing a company-provided uniform and maintaining a professional and well-groomed appearance.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Displays and arranges beverage products on shelves, displays, and other areas to draw attention to potential customers.

  • Orders product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out of stocks conditions.
  • Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
  • Communicate effectively on a daily basis with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
  • Wear company provided uniform and present professional and well-groomed appearance to customers and market place.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
