Requirements

Minimum of six one experience working in a licensed child care facility
High School Diploma or Equivalent
CDA, Bachelor’s degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education, or related; or Current and active enrollment in an accredited Associates or Bachelor’s degree program; or Ability to pass background and fingerprinting check
Be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English
CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
Experience or education in physical education or sports medicine
Is familiar with the child care field and pay scale.
Must have reliable attendance and accountability.
Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Meet the individual needs of the children, interact with all children to support play and learning
Implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans
Participate in staff trainings and required teacher trainings
Establish positive and effective communication and relationships with families
Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, loving, and nurturing environment for all children
Other duties as assigned
