About The Position

This position is for Owner Operators with a Class A CDL based in Jacksonville, FL, working for GENERAL ELECTRIC on a Dedicated Dry Van route. The primary service area is Florida, with occasional deliveries into South Georgia or Alabama. Drivers can expect to be home nightly for 90% of the week, with one night out per week. Early morning appointments between 6 am and 10 am are common, requiring night or early morning runs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with optional Saturday work available. This role involves drop and hook at the shipper and live unload at the receiver.

Requirements

Class A CDL Required
Truck must be 2000 or newer and a sleeper.
12 months of experience in the past 3 years.
Driver must live in the Jacksonville area.

Nice To Haves

Twic card preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Operate a Class A CDL vehicle for dedicated dry van routes.
Service states including FL, GA, and AL, with the majority of loads within Florida.
Meet early morning appointment times (6 am - 10 am).
Perform drop and hook at the shipper and live unload at the receiver.
Complete optional Saturday work when available.

Weekly Gross Average: $3,000 - $4,000
Weekly Average bring home: $1,800 - $2,600 after all deductions
Mileage pay: Loaded Miles @ $1.350 Per Mile + Fuel Surcharge
Empty Miles @ $1.00 Per Mile + 50% Fuel Surcharge
Additional compensation for loads less than 225 miles from Jax.
Trailer rental fee: $85.00/weekly
