Domestic City/Regional Owner-Operator Schedule
About The Position
This regional owner-operator position offers a schedule running 5 days a week, from Monday to Friday, starting at 0500 and averaging 400 miles per day. The primary route is from Montreal towards Quebec City and returning to Montreal. The role involves assisting with City P&D work as needed. Freight and destinations may vary, with occasional trips to Ontario. The driver must be willing to complete overnight trips as required with short notice. Regional work is a requirement, and additional local work may be available upon request. Hours and days of work may change according to operational demands. A bunk truck is required.
Requirements
- Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
- Must be able to haul containers
- Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
- Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
- Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
Nice To Haves
- CP Rail and container experience is preferred
