We are looking for a Owner Operator (Courier) with their own vehicle and based out of Richmond. Servicing Downtown Vancouver. Approximately 90-120 stops per day, 0 - 160kms.

Requirements

Vehicle requirement: Full sized Van 2021 or newer
Valid driver's license and clean driver abstract (no more than 4 demerit points)
Must be able to lift 70 lbs
Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.

Responsibilities

Possess a valid Driver's License at all times, no more than four (4) demerit points
Clean Driver's Abstract
Possession of liability insurance and all other licenses as required by law and Purolator specifications.
Valid WCB registration and coverage for Owner Operator and Relief Driver.
Must supply own vehicle and maintain appearance and operation at highest industry standards.
Must possess a valid Dangerous Goods Handling Certificate.
Ability to pick-up and deliver all packages associated to the route area or as required.
Complete a criminal record check.
Must meet and maintain standards set by Purolator Inc.
Maintain membership with Teamster’s Canada.
