About The Position

AmCan Freight Express is seeking owner-operators for semi-trucks who are looking for a carrier that values their truck and offers competitive pay. We focus on quality freight to keep you moving and ensure you retain more of your earnings. Our model prioritizes customer freight over the spot market, leading to stronger, more consistent rates. We offer flexibility in home time, allowing drivers to choose between weekends at home or full over-the-road (OTR) routes. The orientation process is remote, with equipment shipped directly to your home for an easy start, enabling you to take your first load locally. We also provide the opportunity to speak with current owner-operators to get firsthand insights into working with us.

Requirements

• Own a semi-truck (cargo vans, hotshots, or sprinter vans are not accepted).
• Possess a CDL Class A.
• Have 3+ years of experience.
• Have no more than 3 moving violations.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a semi-truck for AmCan Freight Express.
• Transport quality freight.
• Adhere to flexible home time options (weekends home or OTR).
• Participate in remote orientation and equipment setup.
• Communicate with dispatch and support teams.
