About The Position

As an Owner Operator Driver with Al Warren Oil, you are more than just a driver—you are a business owner and a critical partner in our operation. This role involves the safe transportation of chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers, requiring adherence to DOT regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring your truck meets all inspection standards and remains in top condition, following proper procedures for loading and unloading, and maintaining accurate logs and necessary paperwork, including Hazmat regulations. Customer service and professional representation at all customer locations are key. Business management aspects include managing fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to maximize revenue, while maintaining a steady workload to contribute to the overall success of the operation. This is a 24/7 operation, requiring willingness to be available when needed. Al Warren Oil is looking for a long-term partnership with experienced drivers, offering top-tier support and high revenue potential.

Requirements

• Late model equipment that meets Al Warren Oil’s inspection standards
• Valid CDL Class A License
• Tanker Endorsement (N) – Required
• TWIC Card – Preferred (or must obtain after hire)
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tanker driving experience
• At least 23 years of age
• Clean MVR and strong safety record
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
• Dependable, safety-minded, and capable of working independently
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including 24/7 operations if needed

Nice To Haves

• Hazmat Endorsement (H) – Preferred (must obtain within 90 days of hire; assistance available)

Responsibilities

• Hauling chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers while adhering to DOT regulations.
• Ensuring your truck meets all inspection standards and remains in top condition for long-haul success.
• Following proper procedures for ISO/Flexi-Bag or Tanker operations at loading and delivery points.
• Maintaining accurate logs, submitting necessary paperwork, and adhering to Hazmat regulations.
• Representing Al Warren Oil professionally at all customer locations.
• Managing fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to maximize revenue.
• Maintain a steady workload by meeting mileage or hour requirements to contribute to the overall success of the operation.
• Willingness to be available 24/7 when needed.
