About The Position

Pace is seeking Owner/Operators/Independent Contractors with their own box truck in the Birmingham, AL market to join their carrier network. As a box truck delivery driver, you will make multi-stop deliveries on routes in and around the Birmingham market, operating during the day and overnight, Monday-Friday. Routes are typically 150-300 miles round trip. Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, delivery scanning, real-time status updates via app, and obtaining paperwork signatures. Excellent customer service, safety, and professionalism are essential.

Requirements

• Have your own working 24' - 26' Box Truck with Lift Gate.
• Must have active operating authority with the FMCSA.
• Meet minimum insurance requirements: $1 million CGL, $1 million auto liability, $100,000 in motor cargo.
• Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
• Drivers must be 21 or older.

Responsibilities

• Pick up freight and deliver to designated stores.
• Operate a pallet jack to load/unload the freight.
• Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
• Maintain required insurance.
• Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
• Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
• Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.
