About The Position

Charles Taylor is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their Wisconsin team. This is a hybrid role working from their Brookfield, WI office. The Account/Program Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Owner Direct Insurance Projects (ODIP) for Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation and Community Insurance Corporation.

Requirements

  • State of WI Insurance License-Property and Casualty designation
  • Bachelor’s degree in insurance or related field
  • 3-5 years prior experience in insurance or customer service experience, preferably commercial and workers compensation insurance
  • Knowledge of the practices and principles of insurance
  • Knowledge and prior experience handling Workers Compensation Insurance, with proficiency
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management skills
  • Proficiency in entire Microsoft Office suite, intermediate level comfort with Excel
  • Ability to navigate and learn web-based software
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks in fast paced environment

  • Ability to prioritize job tasks to meet deadlines
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail and understand its importance to the business

Responsibilities

  • Provides program leadership of ODIP projects – Workers Compensation
  • Provides day-to-day processing of individual ODIP projects
  • Manages collection and processing of workers compensation coverage applications and associated worksheets from contractors and forwards to the DWD for approval
  • Reviews all applications and worksheets for accuracy and communicates any discrepancies with all necessary parties
  • Issues work comp policies, final audits and any associated endorsements in Origami
  • Requests documentation and payroll reports for each contractor on project, and tracks activity against applications and worksheets - follow up as necessary for outstanding documentation in a timely manner
  • Keeps in regular contact with general contractor and loss control and project owner for status updates on project
  • Coordinates information as necessary with regulatory agencies (DWD, WCRB)
  • Manages strict timeline and deadlines for reporting appropriate documentation to various parties associated with the program
  • Updates spreadsheet as appropriate
  • Obtains necessary signatures to close out contractor once all work has been completed
  • Forwards audited payroll and final audit documentation to each contractor once completed
  • Attends regularly scheduled project progress meetings with general contractors, loss control, owner and other associated parties
  • Attends quarterly Stewardship meeting with DWD, WCRB, general contractor, loss control and other associated parties
  • Submits WC policies, premium and additional documentation necessary for State reporting
  • Invoices the insured and provide activity summary, as appropriate monthly
  • Process all necessary documentation to close out project once substantial completion has been reached
  • Maintains all documentation, following underwriting file organization for all files and correspondence related to the project for the necessary record retention period
  • Assists with other underwriting departments programs and team members as may be needed
  • May travel on occasion to construction site to view status of project as well as quarterly stewardship meetings. Travel is intrastate within Wisconsin.
