About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Overnight Yard Jockey to join our team in Brewster, NY. This full-time position involves moving trucks and trailers in and out of dock doors, ensuring proper loading, securing, fueling, and temperature control of trailers. You will also be responsible for arranging trucks and trailers safely in the yard, inspecting equipment, and reporting any safety or maintenance concerns. Maintaining a clean and organized yard, adhering to all safety, DOT, and food safety regulations are key aspects of this role.

Requirements

Valid CDL issued by state of residence and DOT qualified
Ability to work overnight shifts, 10+ hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
Comfortable entering/exiting trucks frequently and lifting up to 100 lbs using safe practices
Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Strong attention to safety, organization, and teamwork
Clean driving record in accordance with DOT and company standards
Must hold Valid CDL
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Move trucks and trailers in and out of dock doors according to assignments
Ensure trailers are properly loaded, sealed, secured, fueled, and temperature-controlled
Arrange trucks and trailers in the yard safely and efficiently
Inspect equipment and report any safety or maintenance concerns
Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free yard
Follow all safety, DOT, and food safety regulations
