About The Position

Wedington Animal Hospital is seeking an Overnight Veterinary Receptionist. This role involves maintaining the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greeting and welcoming clients and patients, answering questions and triaging client concerns, handling calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and processing check-ins and check-outs. Receptionists provide emotional support to clients during difficult times and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes. The role requires the ability to withstand unpleasant odors and noises and may involve exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases. The hospital offers opportunities for growth through virtual and hands-on training and continuing development.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
Highly organized
Possess computer skills
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
