About The Position
This position is for an Overnight Temporary Set-up Associate at Walmart. The role involves providing exceptional customer service and assisting in salesfloor operations to ensure a positive shopping experience and drive customer loyalty. A Temporary Setup Associate typically transfers from another store or department to help establish a special Store Layout. The job is highly physical, requiring the movement of modular fixtures around the store. It is highly variable, as many different projects require various forms of setup. Duties are of a general nature and are assigned by the Assistant Store Manager (ASM). This role is not typically customer-facing and does not involve handling cash, narcotics, or other highly sensitive products. The duties are generally more physical than those of a regular Temporary Set-up Associate, with heavier fixtures typically moved during the overnight shift compared to day/evening shifts.
