About The Position
The Overnight Task Team Outfitter supports the overall operations and health of the retail store campus by completing non-selling tasks during overnight hours. This helps reduce the workload of Sales Outfitters and creates more time for customer service and selling activities. The role performs replenishment, inventory support, price changes, recovery, visual merchandising, and planogram work across assigned departments, and may assist with OMNI fulfillment during peak business.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience.
- Ability to use System Two and RF/Gizmo devices.
- Ability to review and set planograms and visual merchandising directives.
- Ability to identify and replenish out-of-stock or low-stock inventory.
- Ability to communicate with retail sales floor Outfitters and leadership about price changes and replenishment.
- Ability to work overnight shifts.
- Regular computer work, walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Tasks are performed under direct supervision using well-defined policies and procedures; work is reviewed by a supervisor, with limited opportunity for independent judgment and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general replenishment across Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Marine/Water Sports, Apparel, Footwear, Hunt Clothing, and Gifts.
- Support inventory management with the Inventory Control team by completing on-demand counts, empty peg scanning, and display integrity checks.
- Execute temporary and permanent price changes, including tagging, signage, and inventory adjustment reviews.
- Perform department recovery tasks, including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing, and re-hanging merchandise.
- Support visual merchandising in assigned areas, including fixture replacement, signage updates, end-cap updates, visual merchandising directives, floor moves, mannequin dressing, merchandise preparation and setup for ads, and department resets when required.
- Support planogram execution and maintenance throughout hardlines departments.
- Support OMNI fulfillment during peak business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
