About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring the visual presentation and inventory levels of the sales floor. The Overnight Stocking Outfitter will delegate tasks, ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, and manage the replenishment of merchandise. This role also supports inventory management, special events, and the overall operations of the department under the guidance of the management team. The position requires the ability to work overnight shifts and involves regular computer work, walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Two years of experience
  • Ability to use System Two and RF/Gizmo devices.
  • Ability to review and set planograms and visual merchandising directives.
  • Ability to identify and replenish out of stock or low stock inventory.
  • Ability to communicate with retail sales floor outfitters and leadership on price changes and replenishment.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Delegates tasks and work assignments to team members, providing clear direction and follow-up.
  • Ensures adherence to all standard operating procedures and processes, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Maintains visual presentation standards, including in-store signage, merchandise directives, planograms, and general recovery.
  • Ensures nightly replenishment of the sales floor from backstock inventory, Distribution Centers, and direct vendor deliveries.
  • Supports inventory management by completing on-demand counts, empty peg scanning, pick requests, and display integrities during off-peak overnight business.
  • Supports the Management team with coordination of all “Special Events”, maintenance of pricing and UPC integrity, determining proper assortments, accuracy of inventory, and proper display, tagging, signing, and pricing of advertised items.
  • Supports the Management team in carrying out supervisory responsibilities, including training, planning, assigning and directing work, evaluating performance, and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Assists the Management team and Human Resources Representative in staffing the department with service-oriented associates, participating in interviewing, coordinating training, and providing input on performance appraisals.
  • Prepares weekly work schedules for the overnight team.
  • Coaches and motivates associates to promote positive customer relations and a productive team-oriented work environment.
  • Ensures all breaks and lunches are provided for overnight Outfitters in accordance with all state and local regulations.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
