About The Position

This role involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. The coach will tour stores, provide feedback, and communicate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. They will introduce and lead company change efforts, provide clear expectations and guidance for implementing business solutions, and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. The position also drives financial performance and sales by reviewing Profit Loss statements, assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. The coach will monitor merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, developing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Additionally, the role provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset. The coach ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and utilizes the Open Door Policy. The role emphasizes respecting the individual by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, and fostering a culture of belonging. Requirements

  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
