About The Position
This role is responsible for leading and developing teams, driving financial performance and sales, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The Overnight Stocking Coach will supervise and develop hourly associates, coordinate job-related activities, and foster a culture of belonging and continuous improvement. The position emphasizes customer service, operational efficiency, and adherence to Walmart's values and mission.
Requirements
- 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities
- Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
- Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit Loss statements and managing budgets.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Manages and supports customer service initiatives.
- Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
- Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
