About The Position

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Overnight Stocker to join their team. This role involves stocking, rotating, and storing general merchandise and food items, ensuring all products are clearly labeled and fully stocked. The position also requires maintaining a neat and clean environment by removing trash and debris. Team members are expected to carry out assigned job functions, support club policies, and act with honesty and integrity, prioritizing member concerns. A safe and positive environment for members and colleagues is essential, emphasizing inclusion, collaboration, and respect. The role requires working with speed and agility, innovating and adapting to change, and maintaining a friendly and positive attitude. Members are expected to deliver service excellence, resolve concerns, and ensure a safe and positive experience. Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and GOLD club standards (Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean) is required, including maintaining a grand opening look daily, executing promotional plans, ensuring visible and accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized. Understanding how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department and seeing the connection between consistent execution and business impact is also key.

Requirements

• Previous grocery/stock experience preferred.
• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

• Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food.
• Ensures that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked.
• Maintains the neat and clean environment of the club by removing all trash and debris from the store.

• Maintains display signage for all products.
• Creates labels and/or applies merchandise sales tags to items.
• Ensures all product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handles damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures the club is neat, clean, and organized.
• Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the club.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
