About The Position

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Overnight Stock Clerk to join their team. This role involves stocking, rotating, and storing general merchandise and food, ensuring all items are clearly labeled and fully stocked. The position also requires maintaining a neat and clean environment by removing trash and debris. Team members are expected to carry out job functions, support club policies, act with honesty and integrity, ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, work collaboratively, and move with speed and agility. Members are expected to deliver service excellence, resolve concerns, and ensure a safe and positive experience. The role requires a commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and GOLD Club Standards (Grand opening look, all items stocked, promotional plans executed, visible accurate signage, clean and organized). Understanding how to access and read performance reporting is also key. Major tasks include stocking, rotating, and storing merchandise, ensuring products are fully stocked with clear and visible labels and price tags, handling damaged goods and spoiled products, performing housekeeping duties, and maintaining club policies. Other duties may be assigned, including working in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.

Requirements

• Previous grocery/stock experience preferred.
• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Responsibilities

• Stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food.
• Ensures that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked.
• Maintains the neat and clean environment of the club by removing all trash and debris from the store.

• Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the club.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
