About The Position

Join the team at Hotel Interurban as an Overnight Security professional and play a vital role in creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members throughout the night. In this role, you’ll monitor the property, respond to guest needs, support overnight operations, assist with airport shuttle transportation, and work closely with police and alarm monitoring services when needed. If you’re dependable, calm under pressure, safety-minded, and enjoy helping people, we’d love to have you bring your skills to our values-driven team! Must have weekend availability!

Requirements

Two years related experience and/or training
Valid drivers license with clear record
Possess excellent verbal and people skills
The ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required to analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring the building is a safe and secure environment at all times.
Maintains a close working relationship with the police and alarm monitoring services
Responsible for airport shuttle transportation
Ensures proper building safety and security measures are always followed
Maintains up to date information of events, both current and future, occurring in the city and county
Answers the telephone in a pleasant and professional manner within three rings
Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly desk at all times
Responds to all guest’s requests in an expeditious manner
