United Protective Services is seeking a reliable and professional Overnight Security Officer for a commercial high-rise property in the River Oaks area of Houston. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining a visible security presence throughout the property's parking garage and surrounding areas. The officer will conduct regular patrols using a golf cart, monitor the property for suspicious activity and safety concerns, and assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, employees, and visitors.

Must be dependable and able to consistently report to work as scheduled.
Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Must be able to operate a golf cart safely and responsibly.
Must possess good observation and communication skills.
Must be able to write clear and accurate security reports.
Must meet all company and State of Texas requirements for employment as a Security Officer.
The ideal candidate for this position is dependable, observant, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
This position requires an officer who can remain alert throughout an overnight shift and take ownership of the security responsibilities of the assigned property.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine golf cart patrols of the parking garage, exterior areas, and other assigned portions of the property.
Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the shift.
Monitor for suspicious persons, unauthorized activity, vehicle-related concerns, property damage, and other security issues.
Identify and report safety hazards, lighting issues, maintenance concerns, and unusual conditions.
Respond appropriately to security incidents and property concerns in accordance with established post orders.
Complete accurate and detailed daily activity and incident reports.
Assist tenants, employees, and visitors as needed while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Communicate promptly with management, law enforcement, or emergency services when circumstances require.
Maintain assigned security equipment and golf cart in a clean and serviceable condition.
Follow all property-specific post orders, company policies, and procedures.
