About The Position
The primary focus of this position is to monitor various garages overnight, to ensure facilities do not have unwanted guests. When the locations have been checked, other maintenance functions may be assigned. This is a full-time position with a shift from 11pm to 7:30am.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (sun, rain, snow, heat, dust etc.).
- Must be honest and ethical.
- Must be independent and motivated to complete tasks.
- Must be ready to work at start time.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be aware of safety regulations, practices, and procedures applicable to the work unit.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of equipment used in parking maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor various garages overnight to ensure facilities do not have unwanted guests.
- Perform maintenance functions when garage checks are complete.
- Frequently walk and drive through all City-owned parking facilities to remove non-customers.
- Work with OPD when needed to complete Ban and Bar forms.
- Use ParkItDesk for Work Order tracking and updates.
- Perform snow removal, keeping walkways, garages, and entries clear of snow using a snow plow, shovel, snow blower, salt spreader, and ice chipper during winter months.
- Drive City vehicles.
- Perform lawn care as directed.
- Complete other tasks assigned by management.
Benefits
