Join a growing team that focuses on relationships. This role involves driving a route 4 days per week with 2 non-consecutive overnight stays, starting and ending in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The job utilizes a CDL license, is a Mon-Fri route with home time every night, and helps keep you fit. For those without a CDL, paid on-the-job training is available, pairing new drivers with experienced ones for hands-on experience to gain the skills needed to obtain a CDL and take over their own route. The overnight routes involve picking up a loaded trailer, significant drive time to the first delivery, building loads for customers, reading and scanning delivery tickets, working with customers on product placement, obtaining signatures, and developing relationships with repeat customers. The first day of the route is typically longer. Drivers will receive $40 per diem for meals during each overnight stay. The second day involves finishing deliveries and driving back to Aberdeen. The Aberdeen - Sioux Falls Shuttle Route is an evening route working Sun - Thurs, starting around 11 pm, pulling full doubles from Aberdeen to Sioux Falls, unhooking full trailers, attaching two empties, and returning to Aberdeen.

Requirements

• 18 years old
• Current Class A CDL, or ability to obtain within 3 months
• Good driving record
• High school or equivalent education
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs

Responsibilities

• Pick up loaded trailer and drive to first delivery.
• Build loads for customers at each stop.
• Read and scan delivery tickets.
• Work with customers on product placement.
• Obtain required signatures.
• Develop relationships with repeat customers.
• Finish deliveries and drive back to Aberdeen.
• Pull full doubles from Aberdeen to Sioux Falls (Shuttle Route).
• Un-hook full trailers and attach two empty trailers (Shuttle Route).
• Return to Aberdeen (Shuttle Route).
