About The Position

QLI is seeking compassionate nurses to provide the best care for residents recovering from spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries. While experience in this specific field is not required, an extensive orientation and mentoring process is provided to ensure success. Requirements

  • Current RN or LPN license to practice in Nebraska (for newly graduating nurses, we will hire and begin training prior to receiving license)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Annual flu vaccine is required during flu season.
  • Must not have any condition or limitation that could pose a direct threat to self or others unless such threat can be eliminated by a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to pass a fitness assessment designated for this job title and perform all physical activities related to the position.
  • Regular attendance in your assigned role is an essential job function.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in dermatology, oncology, or hospital/clinic settings.
  • Experience as a C.N.A. and earned a nursing degree or APRN degree.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to residents recovering from spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries.
  • Develop therapeutic plans for individual residents.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams to improve resident recovery.
  • Adapt to resident needs and evolving healthcare issues.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Troubleshoot scenarios and support career growth of team members.
