About The Position

This position is responsible for cleaning public and employee restrooms and showers, cleaning glass in public and employee areas, and cleaning floor surfaces in public or employee spaces using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment. The role also involves dusting surfaces in assigned areas, emptying trash containers, inspecting furniture for damages, cleaning and maintaining lights, and posting caution signs when necessary. The housekeeper will also be responsible for contacting other departments for urgent repairs, responding promptly to guest and department requests, and identifying and reporting maintenance issues. Additionally, the role requires adherence to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, including proper storage of flammable materials and completion of safety training. The position also involves maintaining a clean and professional appearance, upholding confidentiality, welcoming and assisting guests according to company standards, and supporting team goals. Physical requirements include the ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance and over 55 pounds with assistance, push and pull machinery, reach overhead and below the knees, visually inspect equipment, manipulate objects of varying size and weight, move through confined spaces, ascend and descend ladders, and stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods.
