Overnight Program Supervisor- Children's Autism Residential
About The Position
This role is for an Overnight Program Supervisor within Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services residential treatment team, specifically for their children's IDD/Autism residential treatment program. The position involves ensuring the safety and well-being of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disabilities, providing supervision to direct care staff, monitoring daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and professional standards, and offering crisis prevention and intervention support. The program serves boys and girls, ages 6 to 21, with intellectual and developmental disabilities and significant behavioral challenges. The program focuses on teaching skill development, positive behavioral change, communication, and self-care, utilizing a Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS) philosophy.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credits hours in a human services discipline to include but not limited to psychology, sociology, social work, education, pastoral counseling, political science, heath, recreation, criminal justice, counseling; and a minimum of two years direct care experience.
- OR 60 college credits from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline (as described above); and three years direct care experience.
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children in our care
- Provide supervision to direct care staff and monitor the daily operation of assigned program

- Provide crisis prevention and intervention support, guidance, and feedback to direct reports
- Participate in the orientation of new employees and provides ongoing employee training
