Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Overnight Pool Cleaner – Waterpark. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining all pools and spas. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. This is an hourly wage role.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning positions in a large waterpark, recreational facility, or hotel/resort is helpful
- Must be able to frequently work in outdoor hot/humid/sunny weather conditions as well as indoor warm/humid environments
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
Responsibilities
- Keeping pools free of sand, garbage, and any other debris; scrubbing all pool tiles, inspecting all areas, equipment, in all pools and spas
- Complete inspections, checking water levels, and removing stains from pools/spas.
- Skimmer lids and Skimmer housings need scrubbed and cleaned. Skimmer baskets need to be cleared of debris.
- Inspect all areas and equipment in all pools and spas and fill out inspection form of inspection. Handrails, steps, the pool curb, the pool surface, skimmer equipment, drain grates, weir grates all need to be inspected.
- Remove calcium build-up on attractions- areas where calcium build-up occurs should be scrubbed/ scraped to remove calcium and should be re-painted if necessary
