Overnight Pet Hotel Attendant
About The Position
Wag Hotels is seeking passionate dog lovers for an entry-level Overnight Team Member position. This role involves providing the highest quality of care to four-legged guests, maintaining cleaning and sanitizing standards using state-of-the-art equipment and eco-friendly chemicals, and ensuring guests receive meals, medications, and affection. The position offers a friendly, welcoming work environment with a strong team of passionate dog lovers. It is physically demanding, requiring individuals to be on their feet for long periods. The role also includes cross-training in customer service, managing guest check-ins/check-outs, processing reservations, responding to client inquiries, and maintaining guest records in an online database. A successful candidate will be a significant dog lover with excellent attention to detail, high standards for sanitation, and exceptional multitasking, time management, and adaptability skills. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, email, etc).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personality types.
- Reliable individuals with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
- Willingness to roll up the sleeves and get dirty.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working or volunteering in either kennel, shelter, rescue, or veterinary facility is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Providing the highest quality of care to all four-legged guests.
- Maintaining industry-leading cleaning and sanitizing standards using state-of-the-art equipment and eco-friendly chemicals.
- Ensuring all guests receive meals, medications, and love.
- Cleaning dishes, doing laundry, and cleaning and sanitizing boarding rooms.
- Ensuring all guests are in the correct rooms and accounted for.
- Providing the highest quality of customer service.
- Maintaining open lines of communication between departments and clients.
- Cultivating medical and behavioral records of all guests using an online database.
- Managing guest check-ins/check-outs.
- Processing online reservations.
- Responding to all client inquiries via email, over the phone, or face to face.
