About The Position

Thermea Spa Village Whitby is seeking a passionate Overnight Housekeeper to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities in accordance with established standards and procedures to contribute to an exceptional guest experience, while using safe work methods. Requirements

High School diploma
Minimum one (1) year experience in housekeeping
Strong teamwork ethic
Good physical shape; ability to work outdoors during all months of the year (weather appropriate uniform provided), ability to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 50lbs (23 kg)

Nice To Haves

Experience working in the tourism industry, an asset
WHMIS certification, an asset
Health and Hygiene training, an asset

Responsibilities

Follow established cleaning and maintenance work checklists
Launder linen, rags, mop heads
Clean windows, mirrors, bathrooms, showers, walls, pathways, and floors, clean and polishes furniture and fixtures
Stock necessary supplies (towels, sheets, soap, lotion, shampoo)
Maintain cleanliness of locker rooms (dust, sweep, mop, and clean)
Ensure proper disinfecting/deep cleaning of all buildings, steam rooms, saunas, and relaxation areas
Ensure that guest facilities are well maintained and sanitized
Perform other related duties
