As our next Parking Lot Sweeper Lead, you'll play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while serving as the primary point of contact for your team and customers. In this leadership role, you'll oversee nightly route execution, coordinate team communications, respond to operational escalations and incidents, and help resolve customer concerns. You'll provide on-the-job guidance and support to Parking Lot Sweepers, promote a strong safety culture, and work closely with management to ensure exceptional service and customer satisfaction across all assigned properties.

Requirements

High School or GED
1 year DOT driving experience
Driver’s License
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must maintain an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, background check, DOT physical, and drug screening in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.
Ability to follow safety procedures, conduct inspections, operate equipment responsibly, and comply with all traffic, site, and regulatory requirements.
Strong ability to plan routes, complete work efficiently and accurately, adapt to changing conditions, and maintain consistent, dependable attendance.
Effectively communicate with supervisors and teammates, represent the Company professionally, and promptly report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns.
Frequent sitting and walking/standing; occasional bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling; limited stair climbing and crawling; ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs at varying heights, including overhead.
Continuous reading, screen use, mental focus, and hand-eye coordination throughout the workday.
Operation of specialized equipment and use of hand controls, foot controls, and fine motor skills.
Required use of appropriate PPE, including high-visibility apparel, eye, ear, hand, foot, head, lung, and skin protection.

Responsibilities

Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment in accordance with company standards.
Ensure all safety features are operational before beginning route.
Review assigned routes thoroughly prior to departure.
Be proactive in asking clarifying questions if the route or expectations are unclear.
Complete assigned jobs within the allotted timeframe while maintaining expected quality and attention to detail.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently at all times, following all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and site-specific protocols.
Exercise additional caution during inclement weather or challenging site conditions.
Handle materials safely and securely; Apply correct procedures for material types and disposal sites.
Report any equipment issues, malfunctions, near misses, crashes, or injuries within 30 minutes or as soon as safely possible.
Immediately escalate opportunities, work issues, or safety concerns to management.
Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while representing the company on job sites or in public areas.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients when needed.
Accurately complete required logs, manifests, and forms.
Respond appropriately to changes and challenges; identify and solve issues timely.
Consistently report to work on time and as scheduled, with minimal unexcused absences. This includes being present and prepared to work throughout assigned shifts, and reliably adhering to start times, breaks, and end times.
