Overnight Network Operations Technician (NOC) | (Secret/TS Cleared)
About The Position
Must have minimum SECRET clearance Willing to work the night shift and weekends, and can be flexible in their schedule NOC Technician (Secret or Top Secret) Washington, DC (Georgetown, 100% onsite) Typical train M-F (1st shift) and then put on the schedule, most likely 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM • First line for monitoring and alerting on our production user environments. • Drive High Availability of the deployed products and provide signal around product bugs and issues. • Enable continuous delivery of product bundles through data transfer operations and patch deployment. • Work with remote and local engineers in debugging product issues across a wide network of environments. • Provide direct user support to a large group of geographically dispersed users. • Provide diagnostic signal to developers on product performance and data health through log retrieval and administrative workflows. • Wide knowledge of our core products to perform Front end and Back end administrative tasks and User Management.
Requirements
- Must have minimum SECRET clearance
- Willing to work the night shift and weekends, and can be flexible in their schedule
- Experience with a systems/network monitoring tool (e.g. Nagios, SolarWinds, WhatsUp Gold, etc.)
- Experience utilizing ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.)
- Familiarity with Linux terminal tasks and/or experience Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting
