About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Engineer / Network Administrator to join our IT team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to build hands-on experience supporting, maintaining, and improving network infrastructure. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and IT staff to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient network operations.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points)
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Support day-to-day network operations, including user access and permissions
• Perform basic network administration tasks (IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)
• Help maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures
• Assist with network security tasks, including patching and vulnerability remediation
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed
• Participate in system upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery activities
• Provide technical support to internal users related to network issues
