About The Position

The Overnight Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining club operations during non-peak overnight hours, ensuring the facility remains clean, secure, welcoming, and aligned with Crunch brand standards. They are the primary point of contact for all member interactions overnight and are expected to uphold legendary service, handle operational tasks, and serve as the eyes and ears of leadership while others are away.

Requirements

  • Must be 18+ with reliable overnight transportation.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Comfortable with technology (check-in system, tablets, camera review, radio communication).
  • Excellent verbal communication and professional presence.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a Legendary Member Experience—Even After Hours: Greet every member who enters or exits with high energy and positivity. Walk the floor to offer support, answer questions, and ensure members feel safe and welcome. Ensure all amenities (sauna, red light, hydro, cryo, tanning, showers) are clean and functional. De-escalate concerns professionally and document incidents with full detail. Go above and beyond for every member—your energy carries the club overnight.
  • Maintain Cleanliness & Safety Standards: Perform detailed nightly cleaning walkthroughs of all gym zones (locker rooms, turf, cardio, free weights, etc.). Clean and sanitize high-touch areas hourly. Ensure equipment is wiped down, floors are vacuumed, and trash is emptied. Log and report any broken equipment, leaks, hazards, or supply shortages. Conduct hourly rounds with a checklist to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Monitor Security & Member Conduct: Ensure all members are actively working out and following club rules (no loitering, no filming, etc.). Check camera systems regularly to monitor for unusual activity or safety risks. Address improper behavior calmly and respectfully; if needed, initiate member removal procedures. Monitor door activity and ensure only active, valid members are allowed entry. Lock down all zones as required (i.e., Kids Club, unused rooms) and verify after-hours protocols are followed.
  • Operational Reporting & Communication: Complete nightly shift report documenting: Total check-ins, Member issues or complaints, Equipment malfunctions or repairs needed, Cleaning log completion, Staffing or scheduling concerns. Submit all incident reports by end of shift with photos and full write-up when applicable. Communicate with GM/AGM before shift end for handoff or club updates.
  • Support Front Desk & Closing Duties: Handle new member sign-ups, member inquiries, and account lookups using VFP. Walk members through recovery amenities and encourage use. Assist with merchandise restocking, lost-and-found documentation, and opening preparation. Ensure all open tasks are completed before the morning crew arrives.
