This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Magna Hospitality Group, L.C. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar position is required.
  • Requires a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • The position requires a varied work schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Computer skills required, including Word and Excel.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in setting up the Front Office training tools such as job descriptions, standards and procedures, and training plans as a guideline for the Front Office Operation.
  • Assist the Front Office Manager in selecting, hiring, and training staff to meet the Moxy Hotels Standards of Service.
  • To assist the Front Office Manager in supervising, organizing, directing, and coordinating the staff and activities of the Front Office.
  • Do a daily inspection and control of all Front Office sections at least 60% of the time. Ensure that Front Office Agents perform their daily duties according to required standards.
  • Check and ensure that consistency in the service for the guest is maintained from the reservation stages to the final departure.
  • Authorize the acceptance of travelers' checks, cash advances, rebates, payouts, and refunds based on established procedures.
  • Monitor and control guests’ credit status to ensure that payment is collectible and received on time. Perform regular follow-up for pending payments to ensure that they are collected.
