About The Position

Join Walmart DC 6023 in Sutherland, VA as an Overnight Maintenance Technician and earn an $8,000 sign-on bonus—paid $4,000 after 30 days and $4,000 after 365 days, based on eligibility. We are currently hiring for multiple overnight shift schedules. In this role, you’ll perform both preventative and reactive maintenance on facility systems and material handling equipment while using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work and performance.

Requirements

Coursework or certification in electronic technology AND 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (automation/electrical troubleshooting)
OR
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology
Ability to troubleshoot and repair automated equipment
Availability to work one of the overnight schedules listed above, including weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on facility and material handling equipment
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
Diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues
Use CMMS to manage work orders, track labor, and record parts usage
Maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations
Collaborate with operations and other technicians to support the facility
Operate material handling equipment and powered machinery as needed
