About The Position
Under the supervision of the Loss Prevention Supervisor and Director of Loss Prevention, the Overnight Loss Prevention Agent is required to conduct patrols and surveillance of hotel property, identify irregularities and suspicious activities, react to emergency situations, follow-up with incidents that occurred on each shift and, at times, retrieve guest vehicles from the garage and assist with bell duties overnight (as needed).
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year security, loss prevention or hotel experience preferred.
- Certifications in the fundamentals of First Aid, CPR, and AED use.
- Able to pass criminal background check.
- Possess an acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols and surveillance of hotel property.
- Identify irregularities and suspicious activities.
- React to emergency situations.
- Follow-up with incidents that occurred on each shift.
- Retrieve guest vehicles from the garage.
- Assist with bell duties overnight (as needed).
- Read, write, understand, and generate an incident report.
- Communicate clearly and concisely.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Answer phone calls or greet guests/employees in a professional, welcoming manner.
- Maintain constant attention to detail to set priorities and follow up on assignments.
- Communicate and deal with different levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner.
- Use initiative and judgment within established guidelines.
- Work independently and with minimal supervision.
