About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Overnight Janitorial Cleaner to perform cleaning duties and help maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary environment across assigned facilities. The role supports the appearance and sanitation of the workplace and contributes to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. The shift is Monday through Sunday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with two days off during the week. The hourly rate is $25.04; a specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. The work includes routine cleaning and sanitation, floor care, waste handling, equipment upkeep, and support for meetings, events, and special projects. The position may require standing or walking for most of the shift and performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50 pounds or more. Employees may also operate vehicles or equipment used for cleaning work and help arrange or remove event furnishings and equipment. Requirements

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.
Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays when needed.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and meet hygiene standards.
Empty trash and recycling bins and handle waste according to company policies.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply shortages to the supervisor.
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, and special projects as needed.
Follow safety procedures and company cleaning and sanitation protocols.
Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding for events such as banquets and meetings.
